About Volunteering India Network

Who We Are

Volunteering India Network (VIN) is an India-based organization providing volunteer programs, community service opportunities, and volunteer travel experiences for international participants. Since 2006, we have welcomed thousands of volunteers from around the world and connected them with local communities and social initiatives across India.

VIN works in association with Sankalp Volunteer Society (SVS), a registered non-profit organization in India. Together, we support community-focused initiatives while providing international volunteers with accommodation, transportation, orientation, project coordination, and local support throughout their stay.

Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for international volunteers to contribute their time and skills, experience Indian culture, connect with local communities, and gain a deeper understanding of the people and places they encounter.

How We Support Volunteers

Our role goes beyond arranging a volunteer placement. We provide practical support throughout the volunteer journey, helping international participants settle into their new surroundings and focus on their volunteer experience.

  • Arrival Assistance: Airport pickup and orientation to help you settle into India.
  • Accommodation & Meals: Comfortable accommodation and meals during your volunteer program.
  • Project Transportation: Daily transportation to and from your volunteer project where included in your program.
  • Project Coordination: Guidance and coordination with local project teams throughout your placement.
  • Local Support: Assistance from our local team during your stay.
  • Cultural Experience: Opportunities to experience Indian culture, communities, traditions, and everyday life.
