What is volunteering in Jaipur like?
There is no fee to volunteer. You can join any of our impactful community service programs:
*Your only expense covers essential on-ground travel services, including accommodation, meals, airport transfers, and daily project transportation.
Whether you stay for 1 week or 12, every volunteer begins with a supported Welcome Phase to ensure a smooth transition into Indian culture.
Following your first Friday, your schedule settles into a consistent weekly rhythm:
*Afternoons & Weekends – Free time for local exploration and sightseeing.
Your program begins with your arrival on Friday (Day 1), followed by a structured Orientation & Cultural Induction weekend designed to ensure a smooth, comfortable transition before project placement starts on Monday.
After your registration is confirmed, please book your flights to arrive at Jaipur International Airport (JAI) on Friday (Day 1). Your airport pickup and accommodation from Friday onward are fully included in your program fee.
On Saturday morning, after breakfast at the Volunteer House, our team conducts a local area walk (covering supermarkets, ATMs, SIM card setup, and laundry facilities) followed by your official Program Orientation covering:
Following Sunday breakfast, we lead a guided Cultural City Tour across Jaipur’s historic "Pink City". This gives you a fun, relaxed opportunity to explore famous local sites with our team member before your volunteer work begins on Monday (Day 4).
*Note: Volunteers under 18 are advised to travel with a signed parental consent letter to assist with international airport documentation.
Volunteers stay in our dedicated Volunteer House located in a safe residential neighborhood in Northern Jaipur. The city center is easily accessible via a 30-minute Auto Rickshaw ride.
We provide healthy Indian meals prepared by our professional house cook:
Breakfast (Self-Service): Facilities and ingredients (tea, coffee, bananas, bread, toaster, kettle) are provided.
Lunch & Dinner: Freshly cooked Indian meals served Monday through Friday. On weekends, volunteers are free to explore local cafes at their own expense.
Programs begin on the First Friday of every month.
