We aim to support the orphanage in caring for children through our volunteer program. Volunteers will help with daily routines, providing care, love and affection to children. They will also assist with mentally and physically challenged children who need special attention. By volunteering, you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children and bring them hope and happiness.
Whether you stay for 1 week or 12, every volunteer begins with a supported Welcome Phase to ensure a smooth transition into Indian culture.
Following your first Friday, your schedule settles into a consistent weekly rhythm:
*The $125 weekly fee covers your accommodation and meals from your Friday arrival through your final Friday morning checkout.
*Afternoons & Weekends – Free time for local exploration and sightseeing.
Upon arrival in Jaipur, volunteers are warmly greeted at the airport by a Volunteering India Network representative and driven to our dedicated volunteer house—a comfortable 45-minute ride. This serves as your secure home base where you will meet our support team and fellow international volunteers, starting your journey in a welcoming and supervised environment.
Following your arrival, a comprehensive orientation and cultural induction is held. This session introduces you to the local program, safety guidelines, and the specific community projects you will be supporting. After breakfast on Sunday, we host a Cultural City Tour, where you will explore the historic "Pink City" with our team members to help you gain confidence and navigate your new surroundings with ease.
Volunteers stay in our dedicated Volunteer House—an independent multi-story building located in (Northern Jaipur). It is a safe, residential neighborhood that offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional charm. The city center is easily accessible via a 30-minute Auto Rickshaw ride (approx. 150 - 200 Rupees).
We provide healthy and authentic Indian meals prepared by our professional house cook:
Breakfast (Self-Service): A kitchen facility is available for volunteers to prepare their own breakfast. We provide tea, coffee, bananas, bread, and kitchen equipment (fridge, toaster, kettle).
Lunch & Dinner: Freshly cooked Indian meals are served at the house Monday through Friday. On weekends, as volunteers are usually out exploring the city or traveling, they are free to enjoy local cafes and restaurants at their own expense. These meal times are the perfect opportunity to socialize and share experiences with fellow volunteers in the communal dining hall.
Programs begin on the First Friday of every month.
