How to Apply

Step 1: Finalize the Program and Submit Application

Complete the online application form, where you will provide your choice of program start date, duration, and some personal information.

Step 2: Deposit and Secure Your Spot in the Program

We will review your application and send you an approval email within 48 hours. This email will include a request to pay the application fee of $250. This fee is part of your total program cost and secures your spot in the program.

After depositing the application fee, you will receive a confirmation email with details about your booking, program, and the date you chose to volunteer.

Step 3: Flight, Visa, and Vaccination

Now it is time to arrange your flight, visa, and vaccinations. Booking your flight tickets well in advance can save you money, as prices may increase closer to your departure date. Similarly, ensure you apply for your visa to India on time and have all the required documents ready for the process.

Consult your travel center or healthcare provider for advice on the vaccinations currently recommended for travel to India.

Step 4: Final Payment

We will send you an invoice for the balance of your program fee. The payment must be completed within 30 days of invoicing or immediately if your program starts in less than a month.

Once your final payment is received, you will receive an information booklet (Handbook) by email. This handbook contains all the details you need to prepare for your volunteer placement.
