Volunteer Trails Explore India with Purpose:

Arrival & Orientation

Upon arrival at Jaipur International airport participants of Volunteer & Adventure program will be greeted by a member of the team in Jaipur and transfer to their accommodation. Pickup services are available anytime on the program start date. On request, pickup from Delhi Airport is available for a extra fee.

The day after your arrival, a halfday orientation session will be conducted. This session will cover essential topics, common greetings, Indian history, culture, and traditions, volunteer project assignments & discusstion, volunteer work activities, explain some rules & regulations, receive an introduction to basic Hindi, and a tour of the local market. It is designed to ensure you are well prepared and informed for your stay.

Volunteer & Adventure 2025

Day 01: Arrival in India (Saturday)

Upon your arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be personally picked up and transferred to your accommodation.

Day 02: Orientation (Sunday)

After reaching the volunteer house in Jaipur, an orientation session will be held in the morning hours.

Day 03 - 07: Volunteer Work (Monday - Friday)

You will begin your volunteer work and dedicate the weekdays to your assigned project.

Day 08 - 09: Trip to Agra - City of Taj Mahal (Saturday - Sunday)

Travel to Agra on Saturday, staying overnight at a hotel. On Sunday, visit the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world.

Day 10 - 14: Volunteer Work (Monday - Friday)

Continue your volunteer activities at the assigned project site.

Day 15 - 16: Ranthambhore - On Tiger Trail (Saturday - Sunday)

Embark on a weekend trip to Ranthambhore National Park. Stay overnight and enjoy an early morning jungle safari (6:00 AM to 10:00 AM) to spot tigers and other wildlife.

Day 17 - 21: Volunteer Work (Monday - Friday)

Resume your volunteer work for another productive week.

Day 22 - 23: Pushkar - Feast of Colors (Saturday - Sunday)

Travel to Pushkar, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site famous for its Brahma Temple. Visit the temple, take a holy dip in the Pushkar Lake, and explore the vibrant town.

Day 23 - 24: Jaisalmer - Golden City (Sunday - Monday)

Journey to Jaisalmer, known as the Golden City, and transfer to a hotel. Visit the Jaisalmer Fort at night to admire its beauty. The next morning, explore Gadisar Lake at sunrise, followed by sightseeing and market visits. In the afternoon, travel to the desert.

Day 24 - 25: Desert - Camel Safari (Monday - Tuesday)

Enjoy a camel safari, exploring desert villages and experiencing the sunset over the sand dunes. Stay overnight in mud huts, engage with the local community, and immerse yourself in Rajasthan’s culture through music, dance, and traditional performances.

Day 25 - 26: Jodhpur - Sun City of India (Tuesday - Wednesday)

Travel to Jodhpur and settle into a hotel. Visit the local markets in the evening. The next morning, explore the Mehrangarh Fort before heading back to Jaipur, arriving by dinner time.

Day 27: Free (Thursday)

Conclude your volunteer work with two focused days at your project site.

Day 28: Checkout (Friday)

Your program concludes with a checkout from the volunteer house and free for individual plans.

Board and lodging

We offer affordable board, lodging, living, and transport arrangements during your Volunteer & Adventure Program in India, catering to individuals, students, families, and groups. Our exclusive services are outlined below for your convenience.

Volunteer Accommodation

You will stay in a comfortable and cozy facility in Jaipur, conveniently located near the local market and city center. The accommodation features air conditioned rooms with attached washrooms, hot water, and western style toilets, available on a shared-room basis. Bedding is provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own towels and toiletries. The facility also includes a common area and an outdoor space, offering a welcoming environment for socializing and relaxation.

Hotel Stays

During the weekend tour and travel week, volunteers will stay in clean and hygienic hotels. The hotels are air-conditioned, ensuring a comfortable experience. Breakfast will be included in your stay.

Desert Camel Safari Base Camp

During the Safari, accommodations are provided in tents or under the open sky beneath a canopy of stars. This promises to be a truly unforgettable and adventure.

Meals

During the volunteering days, you will enjoy a variety of freshly prepared Indian vegetarian meals right at your accommodation. Renowned for its bold flavors and diverse dishes, Indian cuisine will be an integral part of your stay, providing a delicious and authentic introduction to the country’s rich culinary traditions.

Volunteer Safety

At Volunteering India, volunteer safety is our top priority. With years of expertise, we ensure a safe environment at our house, during transportation, at program locations and during the travel and hotel stays. We are fully prepared for any emergencies and maintain strict safety protocols. With over 3000 volunteers aged 16-65, we have had no incidents.

Daily Transport to Project

Daily transportation is provided between your accommodation and the volunteer project site, ensuring a hassle-free commute to and from your work each day.

Free Time Activities

After volunteering, you are encouraged to explore the vibrant and diverse city of Jaipur. Spend your free time visiting local markets, discovering heritage monuments, and dining at some of the city restaurants to sample the rich variety of Indian dishes. With so much to see and do, Jaipur offers endless opportunities to imerse yourself in the bustling life of the capital.

Arrival
The program begins on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from October to March.

Arrival/Check-in: Pickup will be arranged from Jaipur International Airport. You can arrive at any time, and our driver will greet you upon arrival.

Departure/Check-out: Your program concludes with a checkout from the volunteer house and free for personal travel plans.

Application Fe (USD $250) - This secures your spot, initiates online preparation, and must be paid after application approval. It is non-refundable but valid for a lifetime.

Program Fee (USD $1375) - This must be paid at least two weeks before arrival in India and covers lodging, transportation, tours, and other amenities as given bellow:
